Flagstaff

On the way home from California, I asked Scott to teach me football 101. This led to us deciding to drive up to Flagstaff for Cardinal's football camp. We had a great time.
We left just in time to watch the end of practice. Then we waited to get autographs. A sweet old man helped me to get Larry Fitzgerald to sign a poster. Scott was thrilled. Here he is trying to get Kevin Kolb's attention.
Jackson enjoyed the fresh air and cool weather. Littlest Cardinal's fan!
After practice we headed back to the car. Scott had to do his traditional, try to sneak into the skydome and locker room. He got pretty far by pretending to have conversations with important people on his phone, but finally he ticked off the wrong guy. Four men escorted him out. These are all the signs he disobeyed. Troublemaker!

We stayed with Scott's friend Brett who is working on a project in Flagstaff. So that night we took him to dinner. He told us to check out Bearizona and it did not disappoint.

We were so close to the animals and right before we got to the bears the park ranger asked us to roll up our windows and said we were headed into bear country. I couldn't believe we were surrounded by about a dozen bears and that they were so close!

After driving through the bears, we parked our car and entered the walking area. There were baby foxes, raccoons, and bears, and even a petting zoo. It was a great activity.
Please love my baby's face in this one! : )
Scott insisted on getting bear claw tattoos. Sometimes I feel like I have 2 kids.
After Bearizona we headed down the infamous Route 66 to Williams, AZ.
We stopped to eat a BBQ place off the highway. The food was delicious and there was even outdoor entertainment. Here is Jackson chillin' with the bikers and enjoying the music.

Later in the day we went to visit the Eldon Pueblos. It was a little boring, but gave us something to do until practice that night.
We had to bundle baby Jack really good so he wouldn't get cold. We couldn't stop laughing because his face looked so mad. What great parents. : /
