We were so thrilled to be parents this Christmas and Jackson was so much fun. We started off the morning by me begging Scott to start Christmas at 7:00. Jackson slept longer than all of us.
Before he opened his presents, Scott gave him a pep talk on the real meaning of Christmas and why we open presents. He's such a good dad.

After our Christmas was unwrapped, we went to my parents to open sibling gifts and eat breakfast burritos. Kyle and Nicole both got Pillow pets. Have you seen them, they are hilarious. Kyle's was a Sparky, and Nicole's was a penguin she named Piggy. Random, we know. P.S. Isn't my mom's tree the best?
We enjoyed going to church on Christmas for a change and got to drive as a family, which is a big deal around here. : ) I got to sing in the choir, which only added to the magic of the season. We had a perfect 1 hour meeting with one great speaker and a few songs. After church we had to hurry and finish baking before heading to Scott's parents to have Christmas dinner. We enjoyed a delicious ham, potato, salad dinner and then opened sibling and parent gifts. Everyone was exhausted from the day and I came home and crashed on the couch while watching Home Alone. We couldn't have asked for a better Christmas.

i can't believe how big jackson is!!! he is adorable . . . i just want to squeeze those cheeks! hopefully we'll be making it out to AZ sometime in the next few weeks!
