I love my stubborn li'l man. From before he was born, he has had a mind of his own. He used to love to sleep/look to his left side only. This resulted in a flat spot on part of his head. After months of trying to get it to fix on its own, we decided, with help from my awesome dad, that it would be best for Jack to meet with a specialist. After consulting with a few different places we found the best one for us. I still can't put my finger on why it was such an emotional decision. I guess we all just want healthy babies and when there is even a minor issue it affects us as parents. Since we have put the helmet on we have had tremendous support from family, friends, and our ward family. Everyone has been so sweet, (well except the Chinese man in the Dr.'s office. Ask me to tell that story another time : ) and we recently met a family who will have to do the same thing for their son and were able to relate to them. The time has gone by so quickly and he is making such great progress.
We also found a place who was willing to wrap the helmet for absolutely no cost. They were easy to work with and so kind to give of their time to help the transition of wearing a helmet easier. My mom and Jill were so sweet to go on a day trip with me to go pick it up when it was finished. We are thrilled with the pimped out version of his helmet.

He is so darling. That's amazing that someone would wrap his helmet like that for free! How awesome! I'm glad that Jackson is taking it like a champ. That always makes it easier.
