One, Two, Skip a few. Travel Journal: Day 5

Well things have been really busy around here at the Cook house. There has been no blogging time. Well lucky for me, this baby is trying to come early and I've found some extra time. More on that later. . .

Our last stop in NY was Grimaldi's pizza under the Brooklyn Bridge. We loaded the car up and were ready to go.

Unfortunately Scott had trouble finding a parking space so he didn't get quite the same effect as the rest of us. The pizza was delicious and they even have a Grimaldi's in Scottsdale. Who wants to go have a little slice of NY!?

We also found a yummy little ice cream shop.
It was really bright outside. : )
On this day we also transitioned into part 2 of our trip: church history. With grandma and grandpa in our rental car we travelled up north to Palmyra, NY. We had a great time visiting with them, even if the drive out of the city was a little scary. On the way to Palmyra we stopped off at the Susquehanna River. This is significant because it was near this area that the Priesthood was restored to Joseph Smith.
