Travel Journal Day 7

Day 7.

Travis & Scott just had to get in a snowball fight on the way to our next stop.
Our next spot was the Whitmer Family Farm. This was where Joseph Smith did a lot of translating the Book of Mormon.

All the gang who wore something green for St. Patty's Day.
We stopped in Buffalo, NY at the home of the "orignial" buffalo wings.
Ben. Love him.
Me & Scott and madam buffalo.
Next we went to Niagra Falls. It was beautiful, even if Canada does get the better view. Unfortunately we didn't have our passports so we couldn't go.

Me & Nicole love The Beatles and know all about them from our Rock n' Roll class.
On the way to Cleveland we stopped by the old Allen Farm. And by on the way I mean about 4 hours out of the way. We learned a pretty neat story about our ancestor Andrew Allen though. He heard about Joseph Smith and rode his horse 80 miles to be baptized and meet the prophet. We saw a spot that might have been his house. It was a looong drive, but we did name our baby on the way. It took a loooot of negotiating and then the very next day we changed it anyway.
